First Aid
On a regular basis, we offer a two-hour evening Pet First Aid and
Emergency Preparedness Workshop taught by Dr. Rhonda Stallings. For
just $10, including refreshments, you can learn the basics of caring
for your dog or cat during a crisis. Proceeds benefit our Good
Samaritan Fund for pets requiring urgent medical treatment who have no
caretaker support to cover their veterinary expenses. Visit our

Oliver RoachMy name is Oliver and here’s my story. 8 human years ago my
owner found me on the side of the road. My old owner didn’t want me any more so
I was really happy to find a new family. They already had a dog, Sascha, and we
hit it off right away. When the leaves turned last time I got sick (I think
they called it “Limfoma”). They took me to Arroyo and then another big hospital
far away where they started putting a special water in my veins to make me
better. I was feeling great but then a little while ago my best friend Sascha
died. I miss her. Maybe I’ll get a new friend soon.
