Keep Off the Grass;-)

Keywords:
These beautiful lush grasses are so tempting to our pets!  Be careful not to allow them to eat the grass because not only can it cause them to vomit, but it may be treated with a chemical you know nothing about.  Cats often will get grass caught in their throat and really be uncomfortable, gagging and even sneezing and vomiting. Dogs love the grass so much they keep eating until they vomit and then they may continue to vomit because it has upset their stomach!

I did not know this! I always thought it was a way for them to get rid of something in their stomach unwanted (like hairballs); - of course the pesticide thing would be an issue. Thanks for the info. Debra

"Catcher & Thumbalina"
Catcher and Thumbalina are from a feral litter of 4 from Pets Lifeline. They are Polydactyl cats (born with a congenital physical abnormality resulting in varying numbers of toes on their feet). According to their owners, "they have long limbs and extraordinary gymnastic abilities. They were very clumsy as kittens and they learned to compensate for their splay footed gates. They seem to be very adaptable behaviorally compared to other kittens we've had - perhaps because of this."
